Local government units (LGUs) all over the country have continued their border controls by imposing harsher rules including profiling of incoming travelers into their cities or towns. In neighboring Marawi City, Lanao del Sur Gov.Mamintal A. Adiong Jr. has ordered care and protection of government health workers when he issued Executive Order 8 to activate the Lanao del Sur Centralized Command System for Covid-19 Epidemic and other Public Health Emergencies. In the city of Ormoc led by Mayor Richard Gomez, a community quarantine in the city banned the entry of visitors from other towns, cities and provinces. Eduardo Gadiano also declared a community quarantine in the province. Juanito Victor Remulla Jr. also declared the whole province under community quarantine to combat Covid-19.
