The V30, just announced today in Berlin, doubles down on this by introducing another set of first in mobile photography and videography. In theory, that meant the V30’s lens can take in more light than other mobile cameras. In my early testing pitting the V30 against the Samsung Galaxy S8, that is indeed the case, though the difference was smaller than I thought. The V30 also uses a glass lens, as opposed to the plastic lens found in most phones. LG says a glass lens captures clearer and more accurate colors.
