Ted OdogwuDespite the advice by the Kano State Police Command, the former state governor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has insisted that nothing can stop him from embarking on the trip. For peace and stability to reign in the state, the police had appealed to Kwankwaso to defer the proposed visit. The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Rabiu Yusuf, during a press briefing, on Friday, cautioned Kwankwaso that he could face the wrath of the law if violence erupts during his visit. However, in a response to the police, Kwankwaso said nothing would stop him from visiting Kano to meet his constituents. Meanwhile, a former Secretary to the Kano State Government, Dr. Rabiu Bichi, on Saturday, said, the state police commissioner would be held liable if Kwankwaso was attacked during his visit.
