Ofigo, who disagreed with Obasanjo that Buhari should not seek reelection, noted that Buhari should see the Obasanjo’s letter as an opportunity for him to succeed. The statement titled “Failure is an opportunity for determined people to succeed,” posited that the letter should energise Buhari to emerge victorious in 2019. It stated, “This Obasanjo’s outburst will definitely contribute more than 40 per cent to President Buhari’s electoral fortunes in 2019.
