Politics took centre stage during the burial of Kwale Senator Boy Juma Boy as Opposition leaders hit out at rivals in the Jubilee camp. "Mwashetani and Mvurya joined Jubilee claiming they were going for development but we have seen none so far," he said. He added: "I want you to elect someone else in Lunga Lunga because the person we campaigned for joined Jubilee." Boy was elected Kwale Senator in the March 4, 2013 general election, after garnering 60,886 votes against Mwakwere's 41,753.
