Kwale police are yet to recover an AK-47 rifle stolen by gangsters, county commissioner Karuku Ngumo has said. Addresing a press conference at Kwale Red Cross offices in Mvindeni yesterday, Ngumo said that the firearm has been used to terrorise residents. The gun was stolen from officers in October last year after a gang raided St. Paul ACK church in Ukunda. Police did not disclose the whereabouts of the"We know the gun is out there and is being used in robbery acts in Kwale. "We want to monitor the progress of all security agencies in Kwale so that we know that we are moving in one direction," said Ngumo.
