The entourage led by the National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu called on the minister at his office yesterday, March 6. According to him, the approach adopted by the Cattle Owners Association will ensure the needed dialogue through which solutions would be made. The Interior Minister promised that government will ensure that calm is restored at the place so that they can go about their duties safely. The minister later appointed Baba Bawumia, an official from the interior ministry as a mediator between the ministry and the Cattle owners association.
