ALOR STAR: A 15-month-old girl died on Sunday, about 24 hours after falling unconscious at her babysitter’s house in Padang Serai, Kulim. Hayfa Afrina Mohd Nasir died at about 3.40pm at the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital’s intensive care unit here without regaining consciousness. Her father, Mohd Nasir Mohd Yusof, 26, said he received a WhatsApp message from Hayfa’s babysitter at 4pm on Friday saying that his daughter could not be roused. “I rushed to the babysitter’s house and took my daughter to the Kulim Hospital. Mohd Nasir said a day earlier, he saw bruises on Hayfa’s forehead when he picked her up at the babysitter’s house.
