The supporting agreement between government and Cascade Development Company was given executive approval by the president. The agreement, signed on January 11, 2007, also requires Cascade Development Company to manage the Accra International Conference Centre. Parliamentary approval for the Cascade agreement was, however, sought a year after government signed the agreement with the Company.
