KUCHING: Police here arrested a kindergarten teacher for allegedly abusing a 4-year-old boy with a stapler. The incident came to light when the boy’s parents noticed a wound on his ear as they were picking him up from the kindergarten at Jalan Chawan here, on Thursday. It appeared as if the boy’s left ear had been stapled, and the horrified parents suspected that he had been abused. Unsatisfied with the response, the parents tracked down the boy’s teacher, who insisted that she knew nothing about the wound. “The 26-year-old woman (teacher) was later detained to determine if she had hurt the boy with a stapler.
