Kuantan FA admit they just do not have any more income


KUALA LUMPUR: Kuantan FA deputy president Datuk Wan Solihin Wan Hassan has questioned the FA of Malaysia (FAM) for demanding that they settle the unpaid salaries of over RM762,000 to 24 players. "We do want to pay but the question is, how are we going to do that when we are suspended now? In addition to Kuantan FA, the FAM Status Committee, which met on Monday, also ordered PJ Rangers to pay RM120,000 in contract compensation to player Abdullah Yusoff while Perlis FA have to settle the wages of 22 players amounting to RM182,000. They have been given 30 days to settle the salaries owing to the players or face the FAM Disciplinary Committee. "We tried to settle the players’ salaries by securing new sponsorship but when we were about to sign a new contract with sponsors, they (MFL) suspended us.
