Just hours after announcing his decision to quit, Mr Korn was booked for media interviews, during which he laid out plans to register his own party. Mr Korn has reportedly been meeting with many young entrepreneurs, who are expected to contribute to shaping his party's manifesto. Though Mr Korn is not a new face in politics, unlike many FFP members, experts predict his party will appeal to the relatively young, middle-class pool of voters. The fact that two MPs cast votes while not being present in parliament was revealed by Mr Nipit, a former Phatthalung MP. Natee Ratchakitprakarn, another Bhumjaithai MP, was also accused by Mr Nipit of voting for the bill despite being absent.
