Schola­rs call for making public letter exchan­ged betwee­n father, daught­er and correc­ting histor­yISLAMABAD: For a long time, people had incorrectly perceived the relation between Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his daughter Dina. This was stated by speakers during a discussion on ‘Dina Jinnah, the end of Quaid’s Legacy’ organised by the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) on Wednesday. Quaid-e-Azam’s daughter Dina Wadia passes away at 98 in New YorkDr Riaz Ahmad, a senior researcher and academician, said that the younger generation must be told the truth about the life of Quaid-e-Azam and his ties with his daughter. Ahmad Salim, a renowned historian and researcher, said that contrary to common perception, Quaid-e-Azam gave Dina her due share from his property as a token of his love for her. He added that there was a need to publish the real history, including the exchange of letters between Quaid and Dina Jinnah to preserve the real account of our history and the life of our founding father.
