LONDON—A terrorist killed two people in a stabbing before being shot dead by police in central London, U.K. officials said, in an attack that forced authorities to lock down an area on the edge of the capital’s financial district. A witness described a man with a knife appearing to come out of Fishmongers Hall, a historic building on the north side of London Bridge. He was being pushed away from the building by three or four other men, one of whom was brandishing a fire extinguisher.
