MANILA, Philippines – It's official: Kristaps Porzingis is headed for the Dallas Mavericks. In a six-player deal, the New York Knicks traded Porzingis, along with Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee, to the Mavericks for DeAndre Jordan, Dennis Smith Jr. and Wesley Matthews. The trade follows Porzingis' concerns over the Knicks' losing ways and overall direction, per reports by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelbourne. Porzingis is incredibly fond of Dirk Nowitzki and Luka Doncic -- and the Mavericks have confidence they will be able to keep Porzingis, league sources said. https://t.co/DVSnl7VYXw — Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) January 31, 2019Apart from receiving Jordan, Smith Jr. and Matthews from the Mavericks, the Knicks will get two future first round picks.
