MANILA, Philippines — Cool weather will prevail on Friday as the northeast monsoon or “amihan” continues to stretch across the whole country. ADVERTISEMENTThe Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rain, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair weather and isolated light rains. The the northeast monsoon which is blowing from Siberia, is is responsible for the nippy weather now being experienced in some parts of the country. This weather system may last up to end of February to early March, Pagasa said.
