Former Kiwis and Warriors star Manu Vatuvei has made his retirement from rugby league official. Former Kiwis and Warriors star Manu Vatuvei has made his retirement from rugby league official. Vatuvei made his NRL debut for the Warriors in 2004 and spent 13 seasons at the club, while also representing New Zealand and Tonga at international level. He left the Warriors in 2017, with Mt Smart Stadium renamed Manu Vatuvei Stadium for one match in his honour as he headed north to join the Salford Red Devils in England. He also played 29 tests for the Kiwis and two for Tonga.
