A New Zealand race car driver has been charged with rape while in the United States for a motorsport competition. Court documents show a local woman last week reported Guilford to police after he allegedly forced her to have sex after she repeatedly told him she did not want to. It is understood Guilford is in Indiana for the NOS Energy Drink Indiana Midget Week series from now until next Saturday. Guilford was charged with rape in the Black Circuit Court and is being held without bond in the local jail. Rape is a level 3 felony in the state of Indiana and carries a sentence of up to 16 years' imprisonment.
