Kituo Cha Sheria has withdrawn from the Deputy Chief Justice Kalpana Rawal's retirement age suit. Read: JSC protests Ndung'u order stopping Rawal retirementKituo cha Sheria, alongside activist Okiya Omtatah, had been enjoined in the case, which threatens to cripple the Supreme court. Representing the organisation, John Khaminwa said on Thursday that cartels wanted them out of the case, because of their support for judge Njoki Ndung'u , who issued temporary orders stopping Rawal's retirement. Rawal has objected Chief Justice Willy Mutunga’s decision to place her retirement age appeal before a five-judge bench and fast-track the hearing date. The DCJ further objects Law Society of Kenya’s bid to be enjoined in the case .
