Southeast Public Health (SEPH) is warning people to check for symptoms of measles after possible exposure at three locations in Kingston, Ont., earlier this month. Symptoms typically appear within 21 days, which in this case falls during the first week of March. As of Feb. 14, federal data showed 239 confirmed measles cases across Canada so far this year. Ontario declared a measles outbreak over last October, after more than 2,300 cases and the death of a newborn who contracted measles in the womb and was born prematurely.
