Rappers King Kaka and Wangechi, actress, singer and radio personality Patricia Kihoro, Karis the Comedian and drummer Olive Karmen are among a pool of mentors selected to interact with the youth at the inaugural edition of Blaze Be Your Own Boss summit. This will be the first of six summits to be held across the country between June and mid-August. BYOB, created to empower youth with a desire to pursue careers considered to be unconventional, is slated for this Friday at the Eldoret Sports Club. Alongside the artists, young entrepreneurs including Eric Muthomi (CEO of Stawi Foods), Amana Insurance Brokers CEO Ahmed Abdi and Fatboy Animations' Mike Muthiga. They will also benefit from real stories as told by real people who have been able to succeed in such fields.
