More than 400 protesters took to the streets of Kisumu on Tuesday following the arrest of opposition leaders who allegedly issued hate remarks. Youths in Migori also protested shortly after a video clip of Junet's arrest outside Nation Centre surfaced on social media. They accused the government of harassing Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama, Suna East MP Junet Mohamed and Kitutu Masaba's Timothy Bosire. Junet was arrested outside Nation Centre where he had gone for an interview.
