Obure is the director of GLO-Jet International, a firm said to be involved in the transportation of valuables including gold. The pistol used in killing Kelvin Omwenga in his house on August 21 was recovered from the same office. Although Ouko claims the shooting was accidental, the police are investigating claims Omwenga had fallen out with Obure over a deal gone bad. A court allowed police to hold Obure and Ouko for 12 days as the probe goes on.
