In his land song, Muigai goes on to sing that Kenyan lands will one day be subdivided equally since it will not be sliced like sukuma wiki to fit in the stomach. "The curse of the Mau Mau fighters will catch up with the children of the oppressors since they are dying due to abject poverty caused by corrupt people in government,” the song goes. In the song, Muigai condemns officials over the Ruai and Kariobangi demolitions, asking why the houses were pulled down while the country is battling the coronavirus. “The first thief made Mau Mau live with sadness; the second thief came and finished the coffee, tea and milk sectors in Mt Kenya saying it is a must for the donkey to reach the horse leading to Mau Mau offspring to look for somewhere to settle,” the song goes.
