(File photo)A man has been charged with kidnapping and attempted murder following a family harm incident at a Dunedin campground. Police said the incident happened in Portobello, on the Otago Peninsula, on May 30. Detective Sergeant Dave Nelson said at the time that initial inquiries had indicated the air were overcome by LPG gas. The woman was taken to Dunedin Hospital by ambulance, while the man was flown there by the Otago Regional Rescue Helicopter.
