Suspected kidnappers have abducted tbe new Vice Chairman of the Transition Committee in Remo North Local Government of Ogun State, Hon. It was learnt that the vehicle in which the victim was at the time of the incident was taken away by the kidnappers, but later found at Fidiwo. However, the Ogun State Police Command has vowed to arrest the suspected kidnappers and rescue the local government boss unhurt. The Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in an interview with newsmen, said the Command was aware of the incident. We are on top of the situation and very soon, the victim will be rescued.”
