Officers were called to reports of an incident in Tellson Avenue, Kidbrooke, at 2.40pm on Wednesday. Police and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene, where the victim was found with a number of stab wounds. Scotland Yard said he was taken to a south London hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead shortly at 8.35pm. A 19-year-old man was arrested at an address in Lambeth on Sunday evening and remains in custody. The incident is one of a number of stabbings in the city this week, as the knife crime epidemic shows no sign of stopping.
