Kibera youths demo against double standards in arrest of 'hatemongers'


Same script for Migori protestsIn Migori, youths held demonstrations against the arrest of opposition leaders in Nairobi. More than 100 Kibera youths marched on Ngong' Road on Tuesday in protest against perceived police impartiality in the arrest of MPs. The others were Timothy Bosire (Kitutu Masaba), Moses Kuria (Gatundu South), Ferdinand Waititu (Kabete), Kimani Ngunjiri (Bahati) and Aisha Jumwa (Kilifi woman representative). Some of the demonstrators carried a coffin and chanted the name of Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who allegedly called for Cord leader Raila Odinga's assassination. They also raided a coffin-making workshop and carried one to Migori County Referral Hospital.
