Kibabii University has been closed indefinitely after students destroyed property on Friday evening and Saturday morning. They were protesting after a student got injured in a car accident inside the school on Friday. "In the view of the safety of the students , staff and property, the university Senate has resolved to close the university indefinitely," registrar Ernest Mohochi said in a notice. Mohochi said all students are required to vacate the university premises by 2pm Saturday. Last month, Kibabii University students went on a rampage demanding that the Treasury releases the Higher Education Loans Board cash.
