KUALA LUMPUR: Khazanah Nasional Bhd (Khazanah) has called on Focus Malaysia to stop publishing any information related to Malaysia Airlines Bhd’s (MAB) corporate exercise. The sovereign wealth fund said the online business news portal should be considerate of confidential matters involving the corporate exercise that comes into Khazanah’s possession. “Focus Malaysia’s recent articles have negatively impacted the corporate exercise and this has affected the potential for MAB to achieve sustainable growth and profitability,” it said in a statement today. Khazanah is currently identifying strategic partners for the national carrier with hopes that the corporate exercise will navigate the bealagured airlines from turbulence. “We need to hold more discussions as we have also received proposals from other regional and international players (airlines and non-airlines),” he added.
