BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will visit Sylhet on Monday, party sources say. “The former prime minister will come via road,” Ali Ahmed, the party’s district unit general secretary, told the Dhaka Tribune. He said he was informed about the party chief’s planned visit on Saturday morning. “Khaleda Zia will spend the night in Sylhet.”The planned tour has boosted the morale of the party activists in the district, he added. Khaleda, too, is likely to start her party’s campaign.
