BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will set off for Cox’s Bazar on Saturday from the capital for a four-day trip. Party sources say BNP activists and supporters in the south-eastern districts are excited about her visit. On Saturday morning Khaleda will go from her Gulshan home to the party’s office in Naya Paltan, accompanied by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other central leaders. On Sunday morning she will go to Cox’s Bazar. Party members in Feni, Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar told the Bangla Tribune they were excited about the tour and were making massive preparations to greet the party chief and the senior leadership.
