Key suspect in south Delhi sex racket goes missing

Investigation into the alleged international human trafficking and sex racket busted last week by south Delhi Police has apparently hit a roadblock as investigators have lost track of an alleged key suspect – Ajay Ahlawat, a retired army colonel. But Ahlawat allegedly is ‘untraceable’, police sources said. The south Delhi Police, a source said, was intimated that Ahlawat would be joining the investigation on Monday. 12 passport copies of women from Central Asian countries and their contact numbers from Sanyal’s three properties in Delhi and Lucknow had hinted that he was allegedly running an international human trafficking and sex racket. The woman had told income-tax officials that she was introduced to Sanyal and sent to his flat by Ahlawat.
