The local administration in Jammu had decided to suspend the mobile internet services to check mushrooming of rumour mongers on the social networks at a crucial time. With peace returning gradually in different parts of Kashmir Valley the state government today evening restored the mobile internet services after a gap of more than 15 days in Jammu. The services will continue to remain suspended in Kashmir Valley. However, broad band services were functional in Jammu. The mobile internet services were snapped in Jammu after violent clashes were reported across Kashmir Valley in the aftermath of killing of poster boy and Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Burhan Wani on July 8 in Kokernag area of south Kashmir.
