Two Rift Valley MPs have criticised Kiambu Governor William Kabogo over remarks that Mt Kenya region voters will not back DP William Ruto for President in 2022. They said the remarks by Kabogo on Tuesday will not be taken lightly by the people of Rift Valley. He said Kabogo wants to cause divisions and political animosity between communities in Rift Valley. The MPs said the majority of elected and community leaders in Rift Valley are unhappy with Kabogo’s remarks. Keter said Kabogo’s remarks are annoying.
