Lamu Deputy Governor Eric Mugo has declared his interest in becoming governor at the 2022 election. Speaking in Lamu town on Wednesday, Mugo said he has amassed more than enough experience and he is confident he will win in 2022. He said he will support the incumbent Issa Timamy next year as he seeks a second term.
