KUALA LUMPUR: A team of police divers today spent some three hours scouring the Datuk Keramat lake, located behind the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah tahfiz religious school. They were combing the lake for evidence used in the arson a few weeks ago. According to a police source, they were searching for objects used by the suspects to break-in into the school such as a screwdriver. The suspects were believed to have thrown in the objects into the lake after they set the dormitory on the third floor of the school on fire. About 5am on Sept 14, a fire broke out on the third floor of the school, killing 21 students and two hostel wardens.
