Kenya's positivity rate now 16.3% after 1,463 test positive for Covid


Kenya's positivity rate has moved to 16.3 per cent after 1,463 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. In a statement to newsrooms on Thursday night, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe said 1,080 patients are still admitted in hospitals with Covid. The positive cases were from a sample size of 8,976, Mutahi added. Covid 19 Time SeriesAt the same time, 26 people died, pushing the national fatality tally to 2,092. From the new cases, 802 are men while 661 are female.The youngest was a three-month-old infant and the oldest aged 103.
