Kenyans opposing Gachagua removal say he’s being attacked unfairly - poll

Majority of Kenyans opposed to the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua said he is being attacked unfairly, a new poll shows. The poll by Tifa Research said 36 per cent of those opposed to the DP’s ouster said an unfair attack was their main reason for rejecting his removal. The survey said seven per cent of those opposed to the impeachment said both Gachagua and President William Ruto should leave office. Another four per cent opposed the impeachment arguing he has the Mt Kenya support while three per cent said it is a side-show distracting attention from key national matters. One per cent said it would not make any difference in the country and two per cent were not sure.
