In response to a poster that was circulating online, Najma Ismail, the Media Relations Director at State House, indicated that the poster was fake. The authors of the fake poster had purported that the media invite was sent out to the newsrooms by Emmanuel Talam, who is the Press Secretary at State House. According to the fake poster, the Head of State was to address the nation at 4 pm, just three hours before Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua addressed the nation.
