Foreign Affairs PS Macharia Kamau has assured Kenyans living in DR Congo and Gabon of their safety. In a statement on Tuesday, he said no Kenyan living or working in both countries has been affected by the aftermath of the polls in the DRC and the failed coup in Gabon. "The ministry is pleased to acknowledge that peace and a return of the rule of law has been assured in Gabon," he said. "In the case of DR Congo, we welcome the election while taking note of the challenges the country has faced.
