Kenya loses seven more to Covid-19 as 479 test positive


Kenya's Covid-19 death toll continues to rise after seven more patients succumbed to the virus on Tuesday. Health CS Mutahi Kagwe confirmed in a statement that 479 more people had tested positive for the virus from a sample size of 4,043 tests conducted in 24 hours. The new cases comprised of 424 Kenyans and 55 foreign nationals aged between one and 93 years old. In Nakuru the 33 cases are from Nakuru North (16), Nakuru West (7), Nakuru East (6), Molo (2), Gilgil and Kuresoi (1) case each. In Busia the 7 cases are from Matayos (4), Teso North (2) and Teso South (1).
