A section of Wiper MPs have warned against the demonstrations called by Cord saying they can destabilize the country. Senator Mike Sonko said the Kamba community should not accept to be used as rubber stamps to advance a few politicians interests. Mr Mutambu said the Kamba community held the decisive vote and urged the president to initiate more development projects in the region to win the people's support. Mbooni MP Kisoi Munyao said the MPs will support the jubilee government without fear and cautioned Cord against playing games over the IEBC issue. "If you address the water problem in Ukambani, you will win big here," Mutambu said at Nuu market.
