Kenya Utalii College is crucial in developing the critical technical human resource for the industry. Hands-on practical training has put the country's premier hospitality training in a class of its own. However, since the state reduced funding to the school and the expiry of Swiss sponsorship, the institution is overstretched financially. It is therefore, prudent that the state reviews funding to the school upwards. An enhanced financial support will enable the institution upgrade the physical infrastructure to meet the current trends.
