Two fishermen died on Monday evening while two others survived after their boat capsized in Lake Victoria. The deaths come just days after nine band musicians who died after their boat capsized in the lake were buried on Saturday. Mr Kennedy Otieno, 25, and Elvins Ochieng, 26, drowned while on a fishing expedition in Mahanga beach in Bondo, Siaya County. According to Mahanga sub-location assistant chief Cornel Apudo, the two fishermen were in the company of the two others when the tragedy occurred. The owner of the boat has been contacted and his boat already retrieved but the bodies are yet to be found.
