Business NewsBy Michael Ollinga | Tuesday, Jul 5th 2016 at 12:04Kerio Valley Development Authority (KVDA) has launched new packages for their acacia organic honey that attracted international interest during the 2013 Brand Kenya showcasing in Netherlands. Eldoret International Airport manager Peter Wafula lauded the new strategy by KVDA to target airlines, saying the liquid carriage regulations on flights are restrictive to bulky amounts. According to Kimosop, the 20 grammes package that retails at Sh30 is suitable for single use in hotels and hospitals because they help reduce wastage of the scarce but very nutritious commodity. During the launch in Eldoret, KVDA Managing Director David Kimosop said the new 20 and 150 grammes' packages are tailor made for airlines, hospitals and hotel industries, explaining that previous packs did not address the needs of the lucrative industries as they were more bulky.
