Kenya : Nyahururu suspects face robbery with violence charges


Updated Tue, June 28th 2016 at 10:20 GMT +3NYAHURURU, KENYA: Six people suspected to be behind several cases of robbery incidents in Nyahururu town were arraigned in a Nyahururu court on Tuesday, charged with four counts of robbery with violence. The six, James Sepachi, James Kaniu, Paul Mugambi, Patrick Wambugu, James Irungu and James Mwangi denied the charges when they appeared before Senior Resident magistrate Ocharo Momanyi. The suspects were also faced with another count that on the same night and place they violently robbed Agnes Ndungu Sh20, 000. The case will be mentioned on June 30 for the court to give the verdict on their bail terms. The court released another suspect, Benson Irungu on grounds that no complainant had singled him out in the identification parades.
