Legislators from the Jubilee coalition and the Opposition make up the reform team on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). The reform team is expected to come up with terms of reference before embarking on its work. It wants the National Assembly to interrogate and ascertain the grounds of the petition, pursuant to Article 251(2) of the Constitution. Parliament is today expected to approve a Motion listing names of members of a joint select committee on the electoral agency. The names will be tabled in both Houses by leaders of majority Aden Duale (National Assembly) and Kithure Kindiki (Senate), with a report expected within 30 days.
