In Africa, Kenya stands at position five in India’s list of largest trading partners after Nigeria, South Africa, Angola and Egypt. During his visit to New Delhi in October 2015 for the India Africa Summit, President Kenyatta invited Modi to visit Kenya. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected in the country this afternoon. Of India’s total export of Sh31 trillion ($310 billion), Africa accounted for Sh3.2 trillion ($32 billion). Modi started his African tour with Mozambique on Thursday before heading to South Africa and winds up his programme in Kenya.
