PHOTO: FILEWAJIR: Suspected Al-Shabaab militia Saturday morning attacked a Kenya Police Station in Wajir and made away with guns and ammunition. The attack on Diff Police Station in Wajir South took place at about 1:00am after the insurgents overpowered officers manning the station. They escaped having looted local shops an officer’s tent and possibly with casualties.”A different source claimed that the militia ran away with about 13 guns and an unknown number of bullets.
